Mediterranean cooking is not only among the world's most healthy, but also among the world's most vibrant. This traditional recipe offers a glimpse into the cooking handed down for generations in local families. The perfect mix of salty, herb and tangy tastes on one pizza, a true Mediterranean celebration for the palate.

What you need:

  • About 13 anchovies
  • 1 egg
  • Fresh basil
  • Dry oregano

What you do:

Distribute the anchovies over the face of the pizza and put the pizza in the oven for 2 minutes. While its cooking, break an egg carefully in a small bowl. Open the oven and quickly transfer the egg to the center of the pizza. Spice the whole pizza with oregano to taste and close the oven for another two minutes or so. When you take the pizza out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil and serve immediately. Mediterranean heaven.
